Fear from a Lectern

"I beg of you", I cry... "Please explain today"... They stand up at their lectern They look at us and say… “Fear is of the darkness”. “Fear won’t bring you peace”. “Fear just don’t belong here”, “All hell it will unleash”. Instead of having fear, Please just understand… Believe or lose your fam’ly, Take part or don’t be saved, Don’t question what we tell you, This is how one behaves. Don’t drink that dirty water, Don’t listen to that man, Come with us forever, And bring a friend again. Here, listen to our story, It’s true we swear to you, Don’t ask or call it fiction Or we will tarnish you. You should not fear, but… Really you should worry, Feed your anxiety, Without us you are nothing, It’s awful to be free.
